Vishal will represent India in the ‘Mr. Gay World 2023’ competition to be held in Cape Town, South Africa on October 27.
Mister LGBTQ Foundation and Queertainment Private Limited jointly organized the ‘Mr. Gay India 2023’ competition on Thursday. Abhishek Jaideep of Kerala has become the runner-up in this competition.
Founder of MIST LGBTQ Foundation and ‘Mr. Gay World India 2020’ Shyam Konnoor, Fashion Stylist Andy Barve, Fashion Choreographer Chaitanya Gokhale, Third Party Social Activist Sonali Dalvi, LGBTQ Social Activist Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil from Gujarat, Ankita Mehra, Stand Up Comedian Shweta Mantri. The competition was moderated and coordinated by Sriram Sridhar. 20 contestants from different states participated in this competition. Vishal Pinjani and Abhishek Jaideep reached the finals in various rounds. Both of them gave a good performance, showing their social awareness and giving each other a blast. In this competition, Vishal was honored with the title of ‘Mr. Gay Maharashtra’ and Abhishek was awarded the title of ‘Mr. Gay Kerala’.
Winner of the competition, Vishal Pinjani said, “I am a book publisher and book seller by profession. I got a lot of encouragement from my family, especially my sister and younger niece. However, there is a lot of gender discrimination in the society. Sexual minorities, such as gays and lesbians, are looked down upon. He also expressed his regret that it is seen.
He further said that often family, relatives and friends do not support. There are many problems like lack of emotional support, humiliating behavior, abuse of us, rape, murder. Working for us to get respect, not hate. Homosexuality is still considered a crime in 70 countries. On this occasion, he expressed his feeling that he will work with gay people and organizations from all over the world to change this perception”.

He has got an opportunity to represent India in the ‘Mr. Gay World 2023’ competition to be held in Cape Town, South Africa on October 27. Vishal Pinjani expressed that I am very happy about it and believe that I will definitely win this competition.
